use a vac pump and torr gauge-also purge with nitrogen whilst repairing-good luck:d

    pics of torr gauge
you should change your vac pump oil frequently
the gauge indicates moisture level in the system- gauge should be fitted at the farthest point from the vac pump but usually thats not practical- once your gauge drops to less than 2 torr, shut off the pump and you will see the gauge move after 30mins to show moisture is still present in the system. continue vaccing until the gauge stays at 2 torr with the vac pump shut off- if not then add nitro and re vac system- this will remove moisture from the system-good luck
