    ranco V series stats



    Which of the ranco stats can be used on air temp by pig tailing a coil on the cap end, also is there a 1200mm cap version,? and which is the one that contacts the evap plate,? I used to know all this but it,s been a while since I done any domestics

    The VT9D operates in a similar way to the VT9, giving a defrost on every switching cycle. The control is fitted with a SPDT (Changeover) switch, enabling the defrost assistence to be switched on during the defrost period.

    The temperature setting range is -25.5c to -14c with a constant cut in at +5c

    Cheers but none of these cut out at an air temp of 0C or above even at the "high" setting of 1 on the dial
