Donaldson ultracool malfunction codes
Hey every body,
does any one have a list of th malfunction codes of Donaldson chiller units???
Our chiller unit show an alarm (EL1). There is no description of this alarm in the manual!
I have contacted Donaldson but they told they are not responsible for the service any more.
Can someone help?

Hi Jebril.
It may be worth contacting Lauda on the below address as they took over (Purchased) certain models
in 2007.

Re: Donaldson ultracool malfunction codes
As far as I can remember "all" E faults on these units are thermostat or thermistor faults
EL1 ?? Which is low supply voltage ,I think.

Re: Donaldson ultracool malfunction codes
Thank you for your quick replying stu,
it was helpful to know why this warning message come. but we checked several times the input voltage of the chiller and we measure 460 VAC on all phases.
(To be exact: L1, L2 : 456V
L1, L3 : 456
and L2, L3 : 460 ). I don't know if this make a trouble. But yesterday we bought a voltage stabilizer to make sure that the input voltage to the chiller and machine is stable. After we tried ... the warning is still flashing !!!!! I'm now really desperate.
Engineers .... please help me it shouldn't be so hard. because in the manual it says that the problem is related to the power supply!
regards

Re: Donaldson ultracool malfunction codes
Have you done the old trick of powering the unit down for 5 minutes...

Re: Donaldson ultracool malfunction codes
Next port of call would be all neutrals on the control circuits.
Prime suspect's for pulling control voltage down would in my opinion be a solenoid coil and/or a traffo.
But work through all connections.
