I have to heat Load an area with these given data:

L:6000
W:3000
Scale: 1:100m

And, I'm really confused as to the actual dimensions of it?

is it 6x3m?

I want to know how it arrived there...I need your help...

yep size 6m x 3m
scale is used only for drawing onto plans so it would be on a drawing 6cm x 3cm- then its easy to check dimensions for shelving lighting- size of door opening

Install Monkey is correct that a 6cm x 3cm drawing area would be a 6m x 3m in a 1:100 scale.

The are two problems with your post yabby
- The numbers you mention are without units and you must know them.
- Also not mention if they are before or after applying the scale

1) Before applying the scale they would be 6000x100 and 3000x100 of the “real world” same unit. If it were millimeters then it would be a 600m x 300m area.

2) After applying the scale then they would be 6000 and 3000 of that unknown unit. If it were millimeters then it would be a 6m x 3m area.

Bottom line is you have to measure the drawing in a unit then in a 1/100 scale, multiply by 100 to get “real world” same units.

A measurement without a unit is as useless as a drawing without a scale!
