I was recently contacted by a customer regarding some Daikin units that I had installed about 6 months ago.
Where the customer was asking if he could have some commissioning sheets for the said equipment.
I advised him that it was not normal practise to compile a commissioning sheet for splits, as they generally come pre charged.
And that with the complex variable speeds etc etc.
That most manufacturers simply require a test run with the unit ramped up and down using the Thermostat settings. Also as they have self diagnosis software etc. Further logging is not necessary.
I explained that on the likes of close control equipment where physical adjustments are required. Then the manufacturers supply commissioning sheets.

In short it is not normal to provide such for a split install.

Or do others do differently?
