    Mitsubishi Electric Condensor Fan control

Hi Guys I've got a Mitsu unit SUZ-A09. Condensor fan runs on heating mode. On Cooling mode the Condensor coil gets hot and the gas can be heard passing through the unit. Then the fan cuts in for ten seconds cools the coil and the gas noise goes . The same thing happens all over again. Does anyone know what controls the Condensor fan in these units? Should it run all the time?
