    Sanyo

Hi all, does anyone know how to program the EEPROM on a Sanyo split condenser. I need to set the outdoor unit capacity code. I think it's possible with a special maintenance remote control but I don't have one of those. All I have is a spare standard Sanyo hard wired controller. It's a CR364 condenser and I keep getting a L13 error.. Have tried all afternoon to set the indoor unit up but it just won't accept the programming so I think the outdoor needs setting. All pcbs are new as there was a power fault which blew everything in the building.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If you provide model number of indoor and outdoor unit, maybe someone will help.

    Hi S.Wallbank.

You need to check the setting of the indoor unit style and capacity though the remote controller.

Did you change an indoor pcb? If so you should put the original eeprom into the new board.

Any of the UK Sanyo distributors have this info and would be happy to help.

    Or e-mail me - lewis.thomas@sanyo.com

I have the info you need.

Mind you Sanyo only exist until Friday this week so be quick.

    Best Regards

Thanks Lewis for your advice. I think it was you I was speaking to on the phone about this problem. Good luck with the work situation, I heard Sanyo were bought out by Panasonic. I decided to start out on my own again so will also be looking for a few leads.
