Hi,

Could you please tell me if there is a universal thermostat I can use for the above integrated Fridge Freezer? Please tell me the model number of the universal thermostat that would fit this fridge freezer and where is the best place to buy it?

yeah a vt9 will fit

Is it quite easy to fit? I am ok with electronics as I have an electrnics background. Does the old capillary just pull out and I just feed the new one through?

Bought a Ranco VT9 Thermostat and obviously my older connector will not fit. Will have to take the 3 wires from the conector and connect them individually. Both the old and the new thermostats have 3 pins numbered 3, 4 and 6. Do I just connect the no 3 wire from the old thermostat to no 3 on the new thermostat and the same for no 4 and no 6 connector? Will this be ok? Are the numbered connectors standard across the new Ranco thermostat and my original thermostat? Many Thanks
