    Scotsman MV300 Fault

Hi guys i have a fault with a Scotsman MV300 ice maker. On switching the machine on its filling the water tank with water as it should then it starts ice making mode, compressor starts up and water pump starts, it runs for about 10 seconds then it dumps all the water and pump starts running dry then it fills tank again and repeats this process another 2 times then shuts down with the red triangle fault light (believe this light means no water or pump fault etc).Cant understand why it keeps dumping the water??? I can work my way around ice machines with mechanical controls eg timeclocks and evap stats but had virtually no experience with scotsmans using PCBs so im pretty stumped by this one, any advice will be great, thanks!!!!

    Hi Northdude.
It sounds like an issue with possibly your Ice Thickness sensors.
I have sent some info that may help?
    Ref page 15 and further.

Hi Grizzly thanks for that, checked inbox but nothing has come through? Im guessing that the sensor is playing up causing it to keep going on defrost?
