    New job

Started my new job today. After thirty fives years on the road I`ve move to a facillities company where I know what time I`ll be getting home. Plus at fifty seven my knees are making themselves known in a rather painfull way so no more erecting lifting beams etc to tear out big motors or carying drums of oil up several flights of stairs to a noisy plant room.
It`s a big company I`m now at but as I`ve been going in there for several years I know many of the guys there. They`ll also be sending me on training courses for boilers and any other I think will be beneficial.
Only thing is will I get used to being in one place all the time?

Depends on how large the facility is and how diverse the work is, Ive been in a research and development facility for many years, never the same thing.
