    R502 Chiller

    Afternoon,

I have been asked to look at a R502 Chiller, the external condensing unit is bolted to the back of the unit, then the pipes, (both look like 5/8) are connected via brass nuts. They look as if they shut off when the nuts are undone. SI this typical? Am I wasting my time pulling all the gas out.

What I am after if they are made, and safe to use is a form of flexible hose to extend the suction and liquid lines by approx 1 -2m. Is anything which is made? or I am going to have to chop in and extend in soft coil pipe.

You will be better off replacing the full unit, R502 was phased out some time ago
