Copeland csemi wiring diagrams

ot two new compeland semi and neither have a wireing diagram

one is single phase and one is 3

(both should have been 3 )

the single phas has a terminal box labeled L1 L2 L3 so sparks threw in a 3 phase supply (as it was supposed to be 3 phase I can't blame him either)
this is the single phase unit

We are rewiring to single phase but I need to know why there is L1,2,3 and where the other numbered ones go to :-/

Think they use the same box for single and three phase hence L1 L2 L3.... Can only suggest tracing the wiring to the relay and caps that will tell which is L,N and start.

get in tuoch with who supplied them and demand a diagram!asap.

Check ohms to establish common start run terminals on 1 ph
3 ph would be the same between phases
Copeland Semi hermetics usually have the diagram on the inside of the compressor top terminal cover plate
or ask your Copeland wholesaler for a Copeland electrical handbook - It gives you all the diagrams
and lists related electrical parts - relays, overloads and capacitors for each model If they still print them in this paperless world
Or register on Emerson/Copelands site as a contractor and download diagrams from there
