Do some kind of backwards search on the part number to see just what unit its supposed to go on.

    Gotta be a container.

    Oops; edit,,,,just saw the dc.

Would guess somebody has changed out the complete solenoid or replaced the coil with the wrong one. i think the coil in the pic. is a 41-6158 24 volt.
tk still do a lot of 24 volt units. The small truck direct drive single or multi temp is available in the 24 volt option. lot of bus units are 24 volt also. would doubt the coil would be responcable for cooking your micro though.

In Africa, the large vehicles are often powered by 24V.

I can see why you may be doubtfull about it cooking the micro but look at the evedence,
The only fault with the micro is a constant gound on oc1 which is the micro supplied ground to this coil. The oc1 has only a fuse between the micro and the coil. I can't see any other fault?? I did check for any ground or pos voltage on that line and there are none of either from any other source.
Maybe somewere in it's travels someone put a higher amp fuse? Can't be sure, it had a 3amp when we got to it.
The coil is dated 2006, unit is 2006. It made it a long time before it was discovered. Customer is new to us so have no history but he did say there have been "fuse issues."

Pretty good buddy! Getting cold here but not cold enough to be busy again. Right between hot and cold is always tough.
How about you? Did you get a ne PC?

Realy? wow, wonder why this is happening? Maybe they need to talk to the "coil guy?" haha
I wish coil wasn't shorted. I would have liked to see if maybe the decal was wrong.

The one i found was for the change over for the three way valve . put 12v dc on the coil was just able to open it
Changed to 24v valve opened all the way.
My thinking for it was maybe someone was there before me,
    Not so now??????
