Re: Sanyo?
Panasonic are shutting down most of their Sanyo operations ,the Irish office went a few weeks ago ,It will all be branded as panasonic and most of the Sanyo employees with a bit of brains about them will hop across to Panasonic.
This deal was done a couple of years ago.
Cheers

Re: Sanyo?
Hi Guys,
Just to Clarify,
SANYO Is Closing 31 March this year.
There is no transfer of buisness between Panasonic and Sanyo. There will be NO transfer of any staff from SANYO to Panasonic. Myself and one other Irish sales guy are the only two ex SANYO employees now with Panasonic.
However most if not all the existing Sanyo distis will be now selling Panasonic equipment. Along with the existing Panasonic network of distis.
Panasonic will be upgrading the air con equipment and selling it with our brand.
Co2 is being discontinued as Panasonic have our own range of A2W heat Pumps."Aquarea"
The SANYO Pac-i split range is being discontinued and and a complete new Panasonic PAC-i
version is coming early summer this year. Panasonic F range of splits will still be available.
SANYO RAC is going as Panasonic is very strong in this range with our "Etherea" RAC Range" units.
Complete new GHP systems being launched this year in April. Panasonic brand only
Panasonic already selling ECO-I VRF Panasonics FS Multi range is still available.. The older Panasonic/Daikin units are no longer availablle.
SANYO technical support will be taken on by Panasonic both myself and Dave Livingston will be available for this. So from that point of view it should be seamless changeover.
My new mobile number is 00353 87 2696043 my email is tony.duffy@eu.panasonic.com.
Feel free to call me for any issues. Bear with me I am still getting to grips on the Panasonic RAC and A2W product line so may not have the answers off the top of my head. But I will do my best for you.
Regards
T

Re: Sanyo?
Thanks guys. One thing Stufus is been a little uncharitable saying anyone with a bit of brains will come across there are plenty of good ppl from SANYO who didn't get the opportunity or just plain didn't want to come across. Good luck to them all they were all good friends of mine and I wish them all well.

Re: Sanyo?
Does that mean that Sanyo as spit system AC manufacturer is no longer in businesses around the world?
I loved their "Made in Japan" Split systems.Last edited by nike123; 08-03-2012 at 10:06 AM.

Me?clever??
Probably not ..
Entitled to an opinion? yes
I am not responsible for your predicament!!!!!And my comment was not meant to offend anyone.
Do you think you and you're workmates are the first to be laid off.
Most of us have been down that road at some point.
You may have lost your job , don't lose your sense of humour!!!
Cheers
