    fujitsu tech info

hi, does any1 have any tech info on fujitsu ie fault codes etc...
or any advise on which direction to go with this...

dnt have the model numbers to hand but from what i can remember, the unit is a split, must be around 10.5 kw i think....i remember they are pre charged to 3kg of r22..if that helps...
error code on remote was e01, 01.
communication error between indoor and outdoor...

there are 2 units running off 1 remote so would it be an idea to check each individual unit at a time ....im guessing yes ?

these units have been running ok for about a year now..

    any ideas ?

    cheers

    Re: fujitsu tech info

    Hi Brian

We had a fault this week with a fuji cassette and infra red controller, As the controller only has a one way communication with the unit no fault codes were available. The timer led was flashing on a set frequency and the other two leds were flashing at a slower frequency. Turned out to be a sensor fault.
Do you have any codes for the infra red control units?

    Exclamation Re: fujitsu tech info

You can find flashing LED fault codes on the ocean air website
    http://www.oceanair.uk.com
Just click on technical then fuij fault codes

note the inverter codes are different from standard units- those rather annoying and difficult to interpret fast flash/ slow flash LED sequences

    Re: fujitsu tech info

both units were on! never did find out what the problem was...
but i think i can remember some mentioning something about the fact that if it had a pump wired into the indoor board for its power that could cause the fault...
solution was told is = rewire the pump into an external power source such as emergency light etc...

wouldnt think thats very good practice but there you go...
