    Solar panel power consumption



    Hello does any one know what the power consumption to run for 200l tank with a solar panel and 300 l tank with solar panel is ?

    Power consumption will depend on the size of the pump that you fit and the number of hours that it runs.

    What type of system is it? Is it an AC pump or a DC pump. Typical AC pumps for the average package solar hot water system would be a Grundfos or Wilo with 6-8m head and flow rates of 0.5 to 1L/m/m2 of panel area.

    Typical pump power for an average system (tank size is irrelevant) is 40-80w depending on tubing size and length.
