    Hoshizaki Ice Machine



    Hi. I'm working on a Hoshi 1M45le and the water pump has failed. The old one had 2 wires and the new one has 3 wires. Is the new pump supposed to have a capacitor fitted? Have I been given the wrong pump? I got it running but theres not enough pressure from it, so I thought it would be best to find out what I'm doing wrong with it before I go any further. Both pumps are 100v and the new pump has a red, black and blue wire. Thanks for any help

    Solved it. Black is the live feed, Blue is the neutral and Capacitor feed, and red from the other side of the capacitor.
