TDSH vs TDSB
Can anyone tell me the difference between the two Frick designations? I've never worked with a TDSB but my refrig vendor is proposing the use of a TDSB355L - i think this is a single stage economizer long rotor style. Alternate vendor is proposing a compound 2 stage Mycom with higher HP requirements.....

Re: TDSH vs TDSB
More info on application would be good, single stage economized is less efficient than 2 stage with economizer for low temp operation, the two stage would be more capital expensive, but long term more efficient, long term power savings. You have to weigh up the capital expenditure versus long term running costs, most accountants look at the bottom line costs, initial establishments costs and forget the operating costs. Get each contractor to forecast power consumption per Kw refrigeration
