Burn out dryer on small freezer cabinet
Hello Everybody
I am changing an R134a compressor Unidad Hermetica GL99AA, it's on a small freezer cabinet.
I presume this will need a burn out drier, I normally work on bigger stuff so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Burn out dryer on small freezer cabinet
I'd probably just fit a 032 sporlan if its a small cap tube system, not sure how the extra volume of a suction drier would affect the system. But if its really burnt then i suppose it would need one to get the acid out and then remove it.
I think a factor is with small systems that they are often cheaper to replace than fix propperly.Mostly found in Oxfordshire, UK :)

I'd fit burn out drier add some acid away then remove b/o drier after week or so and fit another 032 liquid line drier.

It does if you use the one for POE oil.
