The Viking is back some might say...
Bah humbug I say, I were never really away I just had a short break.

Having crossed the oceans and reaped the fruits of the beautiful life, I'm once again back by my trusted old keyboard.

To all my old friends that recognised me and have welcomed me back - THANK YOU, it gives a strange warm kind of sensation in the area next to my lungs.
To all the rest of you... I'm looking forward to getting to know you.


I'm glad to see that you all still are around and not much has changed...
I found the thread about the [s]amateurs[/s] untrained engineers making mods without the necessary knowledge now expecting us to, like Harry Potter, whisk a wand around and sort it for them...

I found the thread about the enduser getting us to explain and justify the quote/invoice he/she been given...

I found the thread about using a fridge compressor to provide compressed air...

I found the thread about junior engineers thrown in to the deep end of troubleshooting and asking us to find the fault using our telekinetic powers ...

I even found the "my leak detecting spray is better than yours" thread...


And who was it that said I been gone for too long?

Oh it is nice to be home again, it's just like I never were away at all.
