    Pu24ek

Im working on a 2 ton Mits P series R-22 its around 8 years old. I am getting a P6 code.
Unit is cycling of frost prevention. I was wondering gernerally speaking what the pressure is on the condensate or two phase line should be trying to determine if I have a restriction in the evap or the condenser.
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: Pu24ek

P6 = indoor coil frost protection in cooling or indoor coil overheat protection in heating.

    Cooling
One of the 2 indoor coil sensors reads minus 15 deg C for 3 mins.
    Heating
One of the indoor coil sensors reads over 70 deg C.

Possibly faulty indoor coil sensor or gas charge, providing everything is clean.
