Looking for hot gas flow control valve
Hello guys, as per title, I'm looking for a hot gas diverting valve, with analogue regulation, able to divert hot gas into a reheating coil.
Refrigerant R410A (PS45 bar), capacities from 10 to 100kW.
Anyone can point me to any manufacturer or tech sheet?

Re: Looking for hot gas flow control valve
Hi NNN,
could you use a large EEV for this application!

Re: Looking for hot gas flow control valve
Maybe, but the existing EEV drivers need an evaporating pressure transducer and temperature probe, which have no meaning here.I would like a solution for a series production.

Hi NNN,
have you looked a Danfoss PMFL. you can get close regulation with them.

Re: Looking for hot gas flow control valve
I am sure, that some where in the Carel documentation, does show hot gas application.
You just need to configure a bit of hardware and software to drive the valve. (if not standard)
Convert your 4-20mA or 0-10V to what ever the valve requires , (presumed that PID is already sorted)

Re: Looking for hot gas flow control valve
Not a standard product,
They did in the past, sort of state that if you had a process fluid (liquid/vapour/gas) that needed controlling they could control it.
Email them to find out.
If I am wrong, then I am wrong, if I am right then you win.

Re: Looking for hot gas flow control valve
Yes, but that's ON/OFF. I was looking for a modulating valve.
Thanks anyway.
