    sticking freezer door help?



    what cause freezer door sticking?
    if mullion heater is on will it cause sticking freezer door?
    evaporator oversize will cause this issue also?

    door seal is perfect no air leakage issue.

    The only reason why a door would be stuck closed is if the
    door was frozen to the door frame.

    Evap size has nothing to do with it. If the door frame is cold
    enough to freeze moisture on it then the heater tape is not
    opperating correctly.

    Heaters around the door keep the frame dry and the door rubber seal will never stick to the frame.

    check heater around doors and frame and if you have not have air relief put small air relief holes on it . in designing we try to put door in position there is not direct evaporator fan's blow

    The mullion htrs should be warm to touch and as 750 vav said a relief port is necessary for pressure imbalance, the balance port should also have a htr in it.

    I don't recall that.may be my next visit i will look for it.
    I don't actually saw it happen but the kitchen crew saying it some time stuck,but not the lock issue.

    don't have much experience with this issue.
    what is vacuum door ( air valve ) on freezer? any info and web link will appreciated thanks

    I mean i don't remember seeing relief port at door or room
