    qwestion about entalphy in compressors

    Hello.
Along the C-D line liquid subcools and gives out heat, and along the F-G line SH takes place and gas continue to take in heat. It is not clear to me what entalphy is inside the compressor (G-A line). Gas also takes in so and so kJ/kkg of heat - according to p-h charts?!

Edit . My picture did not come out. I meant the arc line on the right of a p-h diagram for a refrigerant compression.

Draw the lines for the compression (hc - hd) vertically down to the specific enthalpy on the base line.
hd - hc = specific enthalpy

I'll try to scan an example in tomorrow (from Dossat)

"Heat of compression" as result of gas molecules friction during compression, said to be "absorbed" , but, absorbed from where ?
