Daikin vrv II recovery mode.

Hello lads , I've got 3 daikin vrv II 's piped together and I've got to change the inverter comp on one . It's not the master unit that needs changing . Does anybody know how to put unit in recovery mode , and then into vac mode ? Are the two modes the same setting? Is there a mode for adding refrigerant ?? Not up to speed on these daikins. Thanks .

Have you got access to the Daikin Extranet? if so then they have the manuals for those units.

on the master unit push and hold mode for 5 secs, h2 will come on solid
push set 21 times, you should have h1 h3 h5 and h7
return once, h7 will falsh
set once h6 will flash
return twice
leave the power on to all units at all times.
if you power down when you are working on it when ti comes to pressure test and evacuate turn the power back on and carry out the same procedure once h2 stops flashing.
to take it out if you have not powered it down push the mode button.
