installation
Dear Friends,
At what height the liquid receiver to be installed when all plants (compressor, motor & chiller) are at floor level. I am ***** systems installer, and now I want to start installation
of NH3 Systems. Can any body give me suggestions/data regarding NH3 systems installation and general elevation drawing data.

Re: installation
There is no one correct answer. The receiver can be located at the same level or at a different level. When it is at a different level it is more often above the compressor(s) but it can be at a lower level. The condenser piping, the system feed and compressor oil cooling will all be factors in determining the best location for the receiver in a particular installation.

Re: installation
Mean thing you do and work right designing and piping- Check valve after compressor and pipe Slop to condenser and from condenser to receiver
With equalizing pipe (between receiver and condenser)
oil drain valve + sight glass+ safety valve for receiver
oil cooler should be close as much as you can to compressor
