Google Server 'Room'
All but a few of the server rooms I've been in had splits squeezed in running full jib to keep them cool.
One day I might get let loose on this type of kit but it'll probably take me a week to get my head round it!

Nice to see they keep the cold side of the racks at a respectable 27*C
Enjoy,
Andy.
Health and safety first..........unless I'm in a hurry.

Re: Google Server 'Room'
Thanks Andy
Great clip showing a large data center. I worked at global switch data center which had the biggest trane centrifs around 4.4 mega watts? They had seven of these chillers and the building cost around a billion dollars. Unfortunately I was not allowed to take any pictures. The system is a variable primary variable secondary with decouple bypass. It runs on the grid power supply with enough generators to run the whole building of 8 levels.

Re: Google Server 'Room'
why would the ups batteries be kept in a room at 27deg,thus the battery life will decrease at these temps, surely a seperate container of just batteries kept at 20deg in a remote area would be better incase of leakage
