Unit not heating very well
Hi all
Been called out to a Samsung inverter split system heat pump that isn't heating very well it's only doing 6 degree across indoor attached gauges and running at very low pressure 17 bar should be more like 35 bar in heating. Unit seems fine in cooling. With 15 Degree diff across evap cools room down in no time can only access unit a suction service port no other access port on system no so clued up on heat pumps was thinking sort on gas any other ideas

Re: Unit not heating very well
Have you recovered the refrigerant to see how much you had in the system? could possibly be a low refrigerant level blowing out insufficient heat

Re: Unit not heating very well
That is exactly what I thought but the unit runs fine in cooling system pressure at 8 bar suction R410a if it was short on gas wouldn't I have low pressure in cooling also
