Fujitsu AST9LSACW timer flash

Hi,
My AST9LSACW inverter aircon is playing up.
turn it on and it goes through the sensing mode, then will not start. The red operation light is constant on as usual, but the timer green LED slow flashes continually.
If i switch it to fan mode it blows room temp air but will not kick the aircon into play.
Searching all error codes for any model comes up that the red should be flashing as well for any error code, the red is constant on.
I run it through the test mode and when it is finished to goes to constant red and slow flash green timer light.
Anyone got any idea as to the nature of this problem or a source for error codes specific to the Australian AST series of Fujitsu aircons?

I have a service tech currently trying to locate some information with no luck yet.
