R E Library
I though just passes in my mind , why don't we create a Library of R E , like documents are uploaded from users , and the others who needs it download it ... this way we will have a big library and we share information .........
As for hosting it , i think a lot of companies offers free webspace so we can use it ...
What do you think of my idea ????

Re: R E Library
not a bad idea.
We would need to agree on a format for documentation and the likes.
I can host the stuff here unless it gets silly

Re: R E Library
It's great idea. You see in other fields of engineeringthey do have this sort of things to help the persons concerned.Of course we have the ASHREA,BCIS etc but if you need some more details or epplications it is beetr to have a library.

Re: R E Library
Hi Guys,
I am sure the major manufactures would like the all the fault code lists published. It would probably take some of the calls away from the technical departments with people phoning up asking about fault codes all the time.
I don't mind spending some time typing them in if that is what it takes
Regards
Fatboy

Re: R E Library
I have added a further database, you should be able to add your links there now
http://www.refrigeration-engineer.co...ocal_links.php
or just go to the database link at the top here
now we just need to populate it.
If you have any stuff you can not get on the web and want me to store it, just email me at the above address

Re: R E Library
I'm still having trouble uploading files to the Library.
The latest one is a file on my hard drive - can someone PLEASE guide me through it
The file is called SME-TS1 (Fault Codes).pdf
It is on my D drive in My Documents
I have tried to upload by typing in:
D:/My Documents/SME-TS1 (Fault Codes).pdf
I have even tried D:\My Documents\SME-TS1 (Fault Codes).pdf
Each time I get an error message saying the link has failed.
Please point out my mistakes before I end up pulling out the last few strands of hair that I have got out
