LICENSE TO CHIL GuestGrasso oil pump problems
Hi there... Im working on a grasso 612 compressor they run 24/7.
Every 3 to 6 months the pump element p/n 2638130 breaks. The heater works properly i see no foaming in the crank case ( liquid flood back). Has anyone have problems with this? Any ideas?

license to chill, maybe you might consider purchase of the oil pump set ( 2038116),there may be component parts inside the pump assy that are already worn out, that is why even when you replace the pump element, failure still occurs. if oe cost is out of budget, you may consider inquiring with ralco and iseco (which i was referred to by fellow members here in the forum). we are using an rc 411 (20 year old) and also an rc612 (16 year old) with no failure of the said parts. they are also used 24/7, though as against our other water cooled units, they are relatively hot.
