New Whirlpool upright frost-free freezer not freezing

Hi, I have a 3 month old upright Whirlpool 6th sense total no frost frost-free fridge freezer.
I went to it today and it was warm and everything had completely defrosted. There is a single green light lit to indicate that it is on as normal. The warning light is not on. I turned it off for 10 minutes to allow it to reset and powered it on again, and the green light comes on, but there is no compressor sound or any other sound from it. I have set it to Fast Freeze, but still nothing.
Any ideas what is wrong?? Help!!

Thanks for your reply. The model number is WVE1660NFX if that is of any help.
The compressor is now running again after leaving it turned off for a further 20 minutes.

Is there anything that could have caused the freezer to warm up, eg. a change in room humidity or temperature, poor ventilation, or leaving the door open? I am reluctant to call Whirlpool if the cause is not their fault.
I am perplexed as to why the red warning light did not come on when the temperature rose, although the lights and control panel are hidden behind the door on this model, so it is not possible to see them without opening the door - a design flaw in my opinion! There is no warning beep when the door is left open, which is also a drawback.

There is a customer support number with the product, call them if worried.

Did anyone fiddle with the thermostat and accidentally turn it off?

Design fault pmsl if dont like it go back to Retailer and demand a replacement

as peter pan said- it was totally frost free- eco cooling!!!

that's true, imagine the money we could save by switching everything off.
