    Stealing copper.

With the price of copper being high, I was called out to a convenience shop on a rough housing estate to look at a air conditioning unit not working, to find the system having no refrigerant in it. Somebody had tried to steal the copper with the unit running with R410A refrigerant in the system, needless to say they didnt get any copper but a nasty shock of 400psig of liquid refrigerant on there person. If they had stolen the copper, all they woud have got from the scrapyard would be 5 pounds, whereas the customer had got a bill for 250 pounds.

an idiot tried to do that with a big cable here. He thought it was copper but turned out to be the main Bell Telephone fibre Optic trunk between the USA and Canada. HAHA

Got a similar callout to a dairywall. The young scumbag wasn't as fortunate though as he ended up in A&E with severe burns to his hand and face.

Moral of the story... Cut the low side first
