Rotary vane compressor pump down test
What should be correct figures of time and pressure rise of low side if we do pump down test of rotary vane compressors (inverter and fix speed) usually used in residential and commercial split systems. Are they should be same as with semi-hermetics. How about scrolls?

Re: Rotary vane compressor pump down test
scrolls have an inbuilt non return valve as the high and low sides equalise when off so pump down test would only check that valve, not too sure about rotary vane but rotary compressors with a roller ball also have to have a check valve fitted to discharge if using a pumpdown system so assume they also equalise when off
