    BTU Calculation

This is a question for a test I am studying for. Let me know if anyone knows how to solve this BTU calculation.

There is a 3 x 5 ' window on a wall 20 feet long and 8 feet high. The room temperature is 80 degrees F and outside temperature is 0 degrees F. How much BTU is lost through this wall?

others here will tell you to google it but, what the hell.

15ft2 X dT X U value (which is 1/r value of the window)

    plus 160ft2 - 15ft2 X dT X U (of the wall)

Others will tell you it never gets to 0F in Las Vegas

... what mikeholm said but you will need the U value for the window and wall (oh and don't forget to delete the area of the window from the area of the wall)
