I must have had a no brainer day when I wrote that .
BUT......I would almost certainly say that...even with 5K SH, the chances of liquid getting back to the compressor are higher. This is a risky game to play in my mind. The TEV is after all, a mechanical valve....and not a particurlally fast one at that. If it suddenly started snowing in the middle of summer for example, this would almost certainly cause liquid to enter the compressor
