expansion valve sizing
hi everybody, i m new to refrigeration engineering, hope can get some help, my question is...
for sizing, i need the following data
- pressure drop ( the pressure between TEV and compressor suction? )
- capacity ( compressor capacity? )
- evaporating temperature ( i have no idea for this )
for example.. if i have a 37kw compressor

first you have to learn how TEV is works,
2nd you need these information ,discharge & suction pressure - Room temperature-Evaporator temperature - Evaporator Capacity - and ....

First you need to choose the right size evaporator for your job, above or below zero, kind of defrost if any, Humidity required in the cold room, etc. etc.
Choosing the TXV depends of evaporating temp, refrigerant to be used.
Last comes condensing unit to fit the chosen capacity and ambient temp.
