Good Health to Moderators
I hope and wish that our moderators ["chillin out, Abe, Andy, Argus, Brian_UK, chemi-cool, frank, Josip, Mark Peter_1"] enjoy of good health.
Because I notice that they do not appear as much as before, last year (2010) and in recent months I feel very uncomfortable with some posters displayed and some comments not related to the topics or with maybe marketing-oriented items.

Re: Good Health to Moderators
Hi, Josei
thanks for good wishes to all of us...
To appear or not i.e. to moderate posts or not is not up to any of us moderators ... we try to keep RE forums clean of spammers and inappropriate posts regarding topics or content, moreover we all realize a lot of RE members are watching and reporting such posts, what is nice and helps us to keep our forums tidy.
Believe me, sometimes our job is not easy, but to run this huge site we are inevitable, of course we need your help too.
For me, personally, the most important thing is tolerance and respect to each person.
Our forum is international one with 58000+ members, some very active members (15800+) and also with some lurkers only, but that is OK.
At the end I do hope we all are learning here, how to became a better: person, engineer, friend, mate etc... what is the aim of all good forums discussing any matter.
Best regards, Josip

Re: Good Health to Moderators
Thanks josip, and to all the other mods. I know just keeping spammers out is a tough task, they seem to come in waves every time an exploit in the system is found.

Re: Good Health to Moderators
I am afraid its a full time job keeping the site updated and for the mods to try and keep on top of the spammers. Its just as well that some members help out regarding spammers and its very welcome. So, thanks to all the members that help out keeping the site clear

Hi WebRam,

Probably not Magoo. That's why there is ongoing upgrades. Wouldn't mind having a look at the hardware that keeps the site alive, all the little flashing L.E.D's. How much juice it consumes would set the bank balance back some no doubt.

Re: Good Health to Moderators
Ya know, I don't even get to see the spam much, let alone report it (even if I did know how) so someone is doing a good job here. Webram, why do I think you would be happiest riding through the arizona desert on your HOG singing "you ain't nothin but a hound dog"
