Frick Compressor info
Centrifugal/absorber mechanic new to screws. Can anyone help out with a Frick TDSH Tear down book? Got 9 to Check Bearings on. Thanks in advance.

A lot of Frick mechanics do a bearing check by simply bumping the male rotor and checking the end clearance. Dismantling to visually check bearings is also not a good idea as you can only see the first bearing in the stack, and besides, it's quite costly as a new shaft seal will be required. Best way to check bearings is to employ the services of a good vibration analyst who has in depth knowledge of the specific machine's internals. Of course, I would put in a shameless plug for vibration analysts as I am one.
