I’ll list some of my vinyl collection (shows age) & they are in no particular order (well apart from Dire Straits). In my eyes Mark Knopfler can do no wrong. Saw them quite a few times back in the day. Also saw "the Boss" at Wembley - awsome.

The first gig I ever went to was 10cc at the Hammersmith Odeon with a girlfriend in '72ish. Notice that 10cc are not on my list (but I still have some old photos of the old girlfiend). Those were the days - young, care free & single.


“Tunnel Of Love” or “Telegraph Road” at full volume makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end & my eyes water with the memories it brings back from my younger years. Wailing rhythmic guitars get me every time which is a theme for most of the stuff I like.

Thanks Gary for reminding me - BTO. Got one or two of theirs as well.

This is no means all of it but as you can see most are from 70,80's & early 90's. My collection stopped soon after that. I guess this is when life became more serious!!
My son does a bit of drumming (god help us) & is well into the old heavy rock stuff.

I'm a bit of a frustrated rock (air) guitarist I guess. Problem is I'm tone deaf & can't play a note - but I know what I like when I hear it. Unfortunately I haven't heard much of late that floats my boat or made me want to buy it.
