Question textbok on the modern refrigerators

    To all

I am an engineer in US.

I am working at the area of technology being quite new for me. Is there any textbook on the modern refrigerators, please? I mean five or ten years old. They would not release all the details of 2001 refrigerator design of course.
    My email address is atchougo@dekko.com
    Thank you.

    Andrei

    Lightbulb Text Books

Hello Andrei, and welcome to the forum.
I would suggest 'Modern Refrigeration and Air Condotioning' By Althouse, Turnquist, et al.
Also, Dossat is a pretty useful book. Something of an industry standard, in fact.
    Hope this helps.

Thank you for help. This forum works.
What is the name of the Dossat's book, please?
    All the best.

    Dossat

    Hi Andrei

Sorry, I'm not sure. I think, however, that it is called Refrigeration Fundamentals. Dossat is the Author. I don't have my own copy yet either.
However, I'm pretty sure Amazon.com have it (Just do a search for Dossat on their site), and I wouldn't be surprised if ASHRAE can supply it. Most bookshops here can do a search for an Author or title, and order the book if they don't have it in stock (It should be under Sciences or Technology or some such). I'd be very surprised if the same isn't true in America. Finally, I would reccomend further perusal of this site, especially Prof Sporlan's fundamentals series. Good luck!

    Hi Freezer,

Thank you again. I feel I have located them in the local library.
    All the best.

    Adam.

You can get printed versions in both SI and imperial.
