    Hotpoint FZ 150 problem

Hello, the red warning light came on and I saw that there was a huge solid block of ice behind the plastic grill at top front. I melted this off with a hair dryer. Put the fridge back on and the next morning the red light was on again. Completely emptied the freezer and turned it on again and after 24 hours the temperatute was minus 20.4. I put some tubs of water in to freeze, the temperature fell to minus 7 and after 24 hours it is minus 17. Can I trust it or can I fix it? Thanks.

it could possible be a defrost sensor fault in witch case it will just keep on freezing up so you would need to get a qualified fridge engineer to repair this in any case i would get it checked out before useing it again cos the cost of food now days it's worth the call out fee i hope this is usefull to you
