    CAD Programs

There are all types of CAD programs out there, being in the industrial refrigeration game, I produce a lot of P&IDs but sometimes need to create a 3d drawing for my designs. AutoCAD has a P&ID program out that looks great and easy to use but i tend to like working with 3D on Solidworks rather than ACAD (Plant 3D).
I'm just wondering what you guys use, if you do, and if there are any down sides to either program?

For 3D, Solidworks is the way to go.

If I don't see it, I don't know it is there so any CAD system I use must be simple or I will never remember how to do anything. There is a system from the UK called DraftIT that works very well for 100 BP. Also Autocad now has a free system called Autodesk123D that is a mix between Google Sketchup and Solidworks.
