I think Hanbell wre stwrting to manufacture them but don't know anymore than that.
Frick make screw packages there.

Yantai Moom compressors has the Hartford (USA)technology and also have the famous Holroyd (England) milling and grinding centers
In attachment you will find a Table of Cross-Reference between compressors .

Agree with you about high class machinery, but material quality is another issue .... metal is either aluminum and steel ..... or low/high alloy steel and carbon steel .... but applications and prices are very different ....
