    EEV open 260%



    Hi just a quick question, I have come across a chiller that has a electronic expansion valve open at 260% it's on a mcquay chiller, i've not really had much experience with the mcquay, is this valve defective

    Is the valve open in percentage terms (%) or is it in pulse steps?

    The joys of electronics.
    The processor is possibly looking at suction Pressure and coil temperatures and a dozen other things and is indicating % of valve rated capacity, particually on pull down.
