    Refrigerant R600a



    Hi all, i am a newbie here, i got a question regarding refrigerant R600a.
    What would be the cheapest way to seal up the compressor tube after the gas completed filling. From what i got here is only welding process which previously used for refrigerant R134a.

    braze a 1/4 charging stubb and leave it on r600 is basically lighter fluid and highly flammable.i wouldnt recommend a pinch off tool

    good advice..just be aware you will probaly have some butane left in the system so make sure you purge with nitrogen...thats presuming its not a new system your building
