    Package units commissioning



    Dear fellow experts,

    I have a package unit with downflown configuration, (raised floor 600mm), connected with an external condenser unit.

    Refrigerant piping is 1, 3/8 & 7/8 no longer than 10meters. Refrigerant charge is around 24kg.

    Design pressure test is at 24bar.

    What pressure test would you advice that I use. 30bar or 40bar? and how long...lets say for 24hrs?

    1.5 times the normal working pressure and below any safety releif valves, for 24 hours.
