Supply & Demand
Obviously a few more engineers than normal have been coming onto the market with recent events at a few companies. We are forever hearing about the labour shotage and this is backed up with the recruitment ads in the trade papers. So has anyone had any trouble getting employement after leaving one of these companies?
Is the labour shortage more prominent in certain areas.
Or is the problem more that the jobs available are not worth getting excited about.
Are people moving to different area to get better positions, i.e. are there more management opportunities in certain area.
I'm just curious with what happens when a load of engineers are released at the same time, is there a wholesale drop in the standard of living, or can you gain by moving.
