I am looking for a formula that I have forgotten from refrigeration school. It went something like take the wet bulb, dry bulb, average CFM through the unit and then multiply those numbers by some other number and this equals total btu's...Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I am working a "Carrier Holland" chilled water unit that just doesn't seem to be getting the job done, since construction 6 years ago. It's on a server room with 2 people stationed in there also.

The unit specs are;
AIRFLOW 4790 m3/hr or 2812 CFM
Total Pressure 500 Pa or 2.0 "WC
Cooling Load 31 KW or 8.81 ton
Motor 1.5 KW or 2.0 HP

This is long running problem child for me, I've decided it has to be put to rest. There will be more posts I'm sure, seeking your guidance.

Thanks,
C David Smith
