Nitrogen back purge, brazing, oxides and burnt oil

Ok, I made a mistake and brazed on a coil without nitrogen in the evaporator coil. The refrigerant was recovered, but there's a decent amount of black soot (copper / aluminum oxides) in there. Does anyone recommend flushing it with any product?

And what does one do about burnt oil? You can back purge a system with N2, but that still doesn't remove the oil from the system.

    Thanks!

Re: Nitrogen back purge, brazing, oxides and burnt oil

It's a small 2 door worktop cooler, and it's mostly in pieces anyway. I took out the evaporator, suction line accumulator, liquid line filter and disconnected the cap tube. I bought it for 50$ off craigslist as non-working. I figured I would learn refrigeration on it. If I mess it up, I'm out 50$, but have hopefully learned something in the process.

Surprisingly to me, as a result of my cooler autopsy, I think the only thing wrong with it was a leaky schrader valve. Too bad I didn't figure that out before I hacked it up. Now I'm trying to put it all back together.
